Emergency Switch for firefighter safety

Different situations require different approaches. Santon has developed a range of emergency switch solutions to meet demands for safety and convenience in small installations for home use and in large Commercial and industrial installations. All the santon solutions are designed to meet requirements in the most difficult circumstances, to safely eliminate threats to people and property.

The Double Safety Switch

The Santon Double Safety Switch is the first system specifically designed for domestic PV installations. Cuts installation times by up to two thirds, safe and easy to install, the Santon Double Safety Switch series uses a groundbreaking plug and switch system.

Incorporating a unique interlocking system of ac and dc control handles (in the double isolation switch) it enforces the correct switching sequence for inverter protection.

 

The dc switch incorporated in the design will withstand up to 25A at 600Vdc continuously per string. The ac switch is rated at 20A at 690Vac. Both the ac and dc switches are capable of switching under both full load and no load.

For additional protection against peak load, a Generation Meter can be integrated at either the inverter double isolation switch or the mains isolation switch.

Citadel HR

The Citadel HR range consists of specially designed enclosures, which can resist extreme temperatures and chemicals, and Santon's reliable P-type switch disconnect, with it's self cleaning blade wiping action contacts. This combination makes a product which keeps your installion functioning under the most extreme circustances.
